| I’m a gay jock and it’s nothing like it is in all these books. What now? I am a 17 year old living in a small town. I am a football player and a great wide reciever. I do pretty well at school and drive a rusty ford pickup. And I’m gay. I’m not sure what to think about that or how it came about but my cousin says I was born that way. | Please ignore the answer that says "Being gay is a teen thing..." It doesn't end if you are truly gay. I've had quite a different scenario than you have. I came out in middle school, and found a lot of different gays guys who I could hook up with or just hang out with. Believe me I know that this may sound whack but try going online. Website like LifeOut or even Gay.com can be a great way just to meet some other gay guys. Not necessarily for hooking up, but just to find some others that may even be close to where you live. Wanting a lot of guys is totally normal. Trust me I have been with multiple guys and also been in meaningful relationships... now I enjoy flying solo. I would just be yourself, you don't seem like a femme kind of gay so I don't see you getting creamed by a bunch of other guys. Most of my friends didn't know I was gay till I told them or I made a comment on another guy or something like that. They say that I'm just me and I just happen to be gay. It can be like that. With the right supportive friends could can be gay and still popular or cool. Never feel perverted for feeling horny.
